English: Pillar decorated with a vertical series of panels representing ritual scenes with anthropomorphic divinities.
The scene as-Sawdāʾ TA 1A 2 is the second from the top of the pillar. It represents two standings gods, one in front of the other, with slightly bent knees: on the right ʾrnydʿ Yṯʿn, on the left Wd. Both of them have bows and a quiver in right (or left) hand. The upper part of the scene is divided in the middle by a vertical intertwined element with a horizontal part facing left (stylized representation of an axe). The gods wear a short embroidered skirt with a belt, the torso (not preserved) was probably naked. The head of ʾrnydʿ Yṯʿn is missed; Wd seems to wear a kind of mask with a couple of horns and a long prominent beard. The scene is framed by trees finishing with an ear with two birds picking from it. Couples of horned animals (antelopes?) with forelegs on the trunk of the tree.
